Question 1

1. Is mybharatportal.com the official MY Bharat website?

Accepted Answer

No. mybharatportal.com is an independent information site. The official portal is mybharat.gov.in, run by the Department of Youth Affairs. Always log in only on the official site.

Question 2

2. Is MY Bharat Portal login free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, login and registration on the official MY Bharat Portal are free. Be cautious of any third-party page asking for payment to "help" you log in — the official portal never charges for login or registration.

Question 3

3. Why am I not receiving the OTP even after multiple tries?

Accepted Answer

Common reasons include weak network signal, DND settings on your SIM, entering a number/email different from your registered one, or the OTP landing in spam (for email OTP). See the troubleshooting section above.

Question 4

4. Can I login using my MBP ID directly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the official portal's main password-login screen, MBP ID is one of the accepted identifier values. It is not accepted on the separate OTP-login screen, which only takes mobile number or email.

Question 5

5. What should I do if I forgot my MBP ID?

Accepted Answer

Log in to your official MY Bharat account (via password or OTP), open your Profile from the top-right icon, and your MBP ID will show in the left-side menu.

Question 6

6. Does MY Bharat Portal login work without an Aadhaar-linked mobile number?

Accepted Answer

The login itself only requires your number to be registered on the portal — it does not need to be Aadhaar-linked. However, some specific MY Bharat activities or certificates may separately ask for Aadhaar-linked verification; that's a different step from login itself.

Question 7

7. What should I do if the login page is not working?

Accepted Answer

Check your internet connection, refresh the page, or try a different browser on the official site. If it persists, it's likely a temporary issue with the portal — try again later.

Question 8

8. Is there an official MY Bharat mobile app?

Accepted Answer

Yes, published by Digital India Corporation for the Department of Youth Affairs, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Verify the publisher name before installing.

Question 9

9. Who do I contact if I can't log in at all? .

Accepted Answer

Use the official MY Bharat support/contact page, or the helpline number listed on the official portal. See the note below on helpline numbers
